Today begins the fourth week of Lent. For the past two years I have been looking without much luck for some pink table linens for these special weeks that occur during the Lenten and Advent seasons.
Well yesterday much to my surprise while out shopping for some curtains to enhance our new and improved learning room there was a sales table sitting out in the front of the store at Linen 'n Things and there were a bunch of pink table cloths for sale!!!! We have not been doing a good job this year with our Lenten practices but I know just by having the visual reminders around it really helps to set the tone and mood for the season.
After the kids woke up this morning and came downstairs to find the dining room and kitchen tables covered in pink and not purple they became really excited because they knew right away that in only two more weeks we would be celebrating Holy week and then Easter!!
