.... wow it has been a l-o-n-g time since I last posted. To be honest I have been on another tremendous learning curve and I needed to take the time off to immerse myself and regroup before I could begin focusing on blogging again.
I am almost finished with my preK-8th grade curriculum planning for Knotty Pines Academy, and even though I am not ready to start back to school next week returning to the blogsphere somehow has really helped my creative and motivational juices flowing again.
As some of my readers will notice I left my former blogsphere host and moved over here to "blogger". I transferred over what I felt were some of my favorite past postings, and must apologize if I missed updating any links or pictures. As time permits I will continue updating and please don't hesitate to email me if you find a link that needs fixing.
After reading and updating old posts it reminded me of how much I missed writing about what we have done in our schooling this past year and keeping our extended family updated on some of what has been happening here on the homefront.
One change that readers will notice here at Knotty Pines Trails from my previous blog is that I will be opening it up to other family members for blogging. As time permits I personally will post about some of our fun lesson blocks from last year, and with additional authors contributing we should be able to do a better job of keeping family and friends updated.
